Message from the Revered Kulapati of the Vidyapeeta
Sri Vyasatirtha Vidyapeeta was established with the objective of nurturing accomplished scholars who possess a deep and authentic understanding of the noble philosophy propounded by Srimadacharya (Madhvacharya). Several institutions in the lineage of Srimadacharya have been carrying forward this sacred responsibility. The foremost duty of Sri Vyasaraja Matha lies in upholding and strengthening this tradition. It has now been around a decade since its inception, and currently, approximately 45 students are pursuing their studies here.
The primary aim of the Vidyapeeta is to cultivate scholars who attain profound mastery over the philosophy of Srimadacharya. In addition to this, it is essential for them to gain proficiency in allied disciplines such as Nyaya Shastra (logic), Vyakarana Shastra (grammar), and Mimamsa Shastra, which are indispensable for a comprehensive understanding of the core philosophy. Hence, these scriptures are also systematically taught here.
